Mini shopping trip

Hello my beautiful bloggers , as promised i thought i would show you what little bits i got when i went shopping the other day. I was really disappointed as i had my heart set on getting the naked palette from Urban Decay at meadowhall house of fraiser but when i got there they said they didnt sell Urban Decay anymore.
But  i did manage to get a Mac Creme d nude lipstick with my back to mac so Free and its the first time i have had this lipstick so am quite excited as i know it has a bit of a cult following.

Next i went and asked for a sample of bare minerals foundation and the new lancome one so i am really keen to try these out. Reviews will be coming shortly. I love getting samples to try even if the assistance are quite scary at times lol.

Then i popped into the new L'occitane store and got talking to the lovely assistant there, she was really helpful and i purchased this almond, apple cleansing oil, it smells just gorgeous and i have been wanting to try a cleansing oil other than DHC so was really pleased to find this. At £16 a little pricey but i got a few little samples to try as well and came out the shop a happy bunny.

I found this gorgeous summer dress in miss selfridge and i know summer has gone really but i couldnt resist at just £6 instead of £32 i will no doubt wear it a lot next year, it looks white in the photo but its actually cream.

Lastly i got some little hair clips again from miss selfridge. I thought these would go with anything and everything. xx

Your lucky I usually tell people who ask for samples i dont have any, but to make up for it I always give people who are nice when they buy stuff samples or free gifts :)

  2. great buys, would be really interested to know what you think of the face oil because I sampled the DHC one and fell in love with it. I have it on my bday list. Are you trying it any day soon? I bet it smells lush.

  4. I wish I had the guts to ask for samples! Even when I buy loads of stuff in Lush or other shops I don't get any! xxx

  5. Hi Sherrie, i have to say ive only used it once but feels gorgeous, my skin is really iffy though so need to wait a bit longer before i review it. It smells gorgeous subtle but lovely xx
Sophie, i tried but sold out :(
Nic you should ask for them hun, its not like you are not genuine, lots of people ask for samples who have no intention of ever buying them so if you want to try something then i think its reasonable to ask for a sample before you try it. Or maybe i'm just cheeky ha x

  9. Ok thanks :) can you do a review about the oil after youve used it for a while? I didnt know they did a facial cleansing oil, typically down here we dont have an L'occitane store. BUT we are taking a family trip up to Cheltenham in Nove and they have a store there ;) OH & I also got my invite for the new Lancome foundation so will get that tomorrow as Im popping into our mall to sepnd my No7 vouchers. I may have to pop into my HOF so I can try the Bare Minerals, didnt realise they did mini samples :) Sorry for long message lol.

  10. Well done on getting the samples! I'm always too scared to ask after a bad experience when my friend and I asked for some when we were teenagers, and were embarrassed by a really rude assistant! I have found that if I buy something, and especially if I get chatting to the assistant and the shop's not too busy, they usually give me a couple of samples! Looks live a good shopping trip! x

  11. I don't understand why the Naked palette is a House of Fraser exclusive, it seems like none of their stores even stock Urban Decay!!
I love Creme D'Nude on it's own and to tone down brighter lipsticks :)
Looking forward to your review of the Teint Miracle!

  14. Thanks for your comment - my nail varnish (that I obviously completely forgot to mention in my post!) is a Barry M one.. think it's just called 'Pale Blue'. It's been probably my favourite nail varnish this summer :)

I also love me a bargain, so definitely wouldn't have been able to resist that Miss Selfridge dress you got either!
