Xen Tan Dark Mist Intense!

As my holiday approaches I'm starting to get into the holiday spirit and so getting a nice Tan is all part and parcel of the preparations.
You might have seen me mention the Xen Tan Dark Mist Intense as part of my favourites for June but i realised i had not yet reviewed it.

I find the spray really quick and easy to use. After the usual exfoliating i just mist on to areas and then rub in long strokes with a tanning mitt. Starting from the legs upwards and then wait a few minutes to dry. It smells lovely like the rest of the Xen Tan range.

The website states that that it contains a remarkable ingredient that works with the tanner to provide a darker, deeper and longer-lasting olive tan. And best of all it achieves beautifully natural results while remaining completely paraben free.

The Results I have used this product a lot and always had consistently great results. A brilliant instant colour which is a beautiful deep dark olive with no orange undertones at all. It isn't the cheapest of tans but i get about 6 full body applications out of this which is pretty good value.

By the way that dark mark on my leg is a bruise from when i walked into the edge of the bed grrrrr. As you can see the colour is lovely and natural looking even though its dark. Perfect for girls who like to look bronzed.
I use whatevers left on my tanning mitt and apply to my face and ears so i don't end up looking two totally different shades. I never break out or get irritated and it saves pennies on buying a separate facial tanner :)

I added some glowy eye makeup to complete the look.
Xen Tan have so many different choices for Tanning and i have to say i don't think I've come across one yet which i didn't like but it's fun trying out the different formulas and finding out what works best.
Have you tried any of the Xen Tan range and if so which is your favourite ???

Xen Tan meet the Experts !

Xen Tan is one of my all time favourite tanning ranges as some of you will know. I am gutted that i can't attend and meet some of the experts at Manchester in Selfridges where they will be there with a special  pop up tent on 29th May till 4th July.

If you are anywhere nearby then pop in and find out more about the products. A great opportunity to ask lots of questions on how to obtain the perfect tan.

Xen tan have launched a new product called perfect blend which sounds amazing so a chance to see what it's all about. Adds that one to the list of tans to try.
There will also be a competition giveaway with the chance to win a years supply of xen tan products :) What a fabby prize.

I love the fact that companies are really getting out there and mixing with customers. Gone are the days when we have to just pick something of the shelf and hope for the best.
If anyone goes let me know, I'd love to see what I'm missing.

Xen Tan Dark Lotion !

Hello lovely ladies, i am really excited to tell you that i have managed to get my hands on a bottle of the Xen Tan Dark Lotion. Now i was so excited to try this as anyone who reads my blog will know i am a huge xen tan fan.
This new Dark absolute luxe has been over 4 years in the making and instantly appealed to me as it is advertised as the darkest, richest and most luxurious tan to date; one that offers a tan that will last longer than any other fake-tan product.

I know a few of you may be a bit concerned with the words ultra dark but for me a deep tan is the look i am aiming for when i fake tan. I don't want a barely noticeable change i want to look brown.

Now the formula is coloured so you can see exactly where you are applying and the fragrance is vanilla which is 100% better than any other tanners I've used in the past. I found the tan developed quite quickly and when i washed off the instant colour i was left with a lovely deep, even, streak free tan.

I even applied a little to my face but only very lightly as my skin is so unpredictable that i wanted to see how it reacted. Luckily it didn't break me out and just gave me a nice glow.
The best thing about this tan in my opinion is the fact that is seems to be taking ages to fade which means i can apply this once a week and be forever bronzed ha.

This tan is for those ladies who like to look like they have a good colour. There is no orange tones but a lovely olive colour. It's perfect for those who often have to apply 2 coats for a decent colour as you only need one application of this to get a great result.
The Xen Tan Dark lotion has knocked spots off my other tans and is sure to become a best seller in my opinion. Priced at £39.99 direct from Xen Tan

Xen Tan Dark lotion

Hi there girls, Brrrrr how cold has it turned. Right now the heating is on full and i have already had 2 coffees since i came back in to warm myself up. Little rocco is snuggled up watching TV with a cosy blanket and i don't plan on leaving the house again today.

After spending the last hr on the sleek website trying to order a few bits in the sale I've decided to give up for a while and write a review instead.
Last week i told you about  the Xen tan face tanner luxe here so today wanted to show you how i got on with the Dark lotion for the body. After all you can't very well have a nice tanned face and a pasty white body.

Now the website states that the product itself is enriched with coconut and walnut oils, it helps you achieve a stunningly natural olive tan that's exceptionally longwearing. And to make sure you enjoy a beautifully balanced result, it doesn't gather at the ankles or elbows, and fades evenly ( sounds good right )

What did i think?
Well the formula  itself is very similar to the face tanner, it has a lovely golden colour so you can see where you are applying it. It has a beautiful sweet almond fragrance. This is the best self tanner i have ever smelt.

The difference between this and any other tan i have tried is just how moisturising it feels on the skin it's so silky and it develops into a beautiful even deep tan with no streaks.
The colour is a lovely natural brown, it's the same type of colour i go when I've been abroad and there is not a hint of orange in sight.

I do like to look tanned even when it's freezing and I'm covering up a lot. It just makes me feel better.
So here's an after photo so you can see the colour. Yes i applied it on my face as well and i have to say it works beautifully. No breakouts and i found the colour came out a bit darker on my face than with the facial tanner but that's fine with me.

Available from Xen Tan RRP £25.95
I really love the Xen tan range and will be trying out the Dark lotion absolute luxe next which is the new and darkest tan in the range which sounds fab too.
Have you tried any of the Xen tan products and which is your favourite so far?
Also I'm interested to know how many other people fake tan even if they are covering up and not going anywhere? xx
