Chanel Pro Lumiere

Hi girlies, I want to show you my new foundation that i was lucky enough to pick up in a blog sale from the lovely nicolavc86

It really was pot luck as i had no idea of the colour I'd brought, but when i swatched it I was hugely relieved to find it a great colour match.
Chanel pro Lumiere is a foundation i have lusted after for a while and i had high expectations from such a premium brand. I am pleased to say i love it.
I'm sure my drawer full of foundations will be pushed aside now i've found this little gem.

The product just glides effortlessly and blends like a dream. I only needed a little to give a flawless look.
I don't have any powder or bronzer on here as i wanted to show you it as a base on its own.

I love the way it makes my skin look smoother and even but its so natural even up close. I expected it to be quite dewy looking but it's not really. It's quite hard to describe, not matte, not dewy but in between. I think it looks like a better version of my skin and it photographs really well too. I think I've finally found my perfect foundation.

The perfect blend of matte and dewy. I like. I like a lot! I had a sample of it which got me going in the first place!

  7. I've been swithering about this for ages! I was always worried that it would be too dewy for my skin as it's quite oily but I like that you said it's between matte and dewy, really I should just go and get a sample! It looks really lovely on you, so natural xx

  9. It looks very nice on you! :-) Does it give full coverage (including covering face imperfections) or medium?

  13. Thanks girls. I would say medium coverage it's def not full coverage. I have clinique even better but find it makes my skin a bit too greasy looking after a few hrs. I also like the colour of this better xx

  17. Do you need to use powder with it? I use Mat Lumiere, and I love it, but since it's summer here in Australia the air conditioning at work has been cranked up and I find the Mat Lumiere is a bit drying.

  18. Hi Dee, i don't really need a powder with it as it seems to last fine on me. If i did wear a powder though i would pair it with either MAC skin finish if i wanted more coverage or MUFE high definition powder which is amazing at reducing shine but its totally invisable. ( my fave powder ever )x
