He-Shi Tanning !

Hello guys and gals, as you lot probably already know, i love the bronzed look. Pale just isn't me and so when i was asked if i would like to try out the He-Shi Tanning products i jumped at the chance.

He-Shi Exfoliating Bodywash is a luxurious face and body exfoliator containing fruit AHA's and scrub particles to gently remove dead skin cells whilst micro-dermabrasion crystals smooth the skin in preparation for tanning

This smells gorgeous really fruity and fresh and the particles give a really good thorough scrub without being too harsh. RRP £12.00

He-Shi Express Liquid Tan is a self tanning bronzer which can be used on both the body and the face, it tans instantly on contact with the skin, giving a lovely bronzed complexion.

What did i think?

When i opened the bottle i was a bit surprised as the product is very liquidy it looks like soy sauce to be honest and i have always used either a cream, spray or mousse formula so thought it might be hard to apply.
But as soon as i started to apply the liquid i was genuinely pleased as the liquid spreads so easily and the instant colour was brilliant so i could see exactly where i was applying it.

The colour guide before it develops is a gorgeous natural brown, no orange undertones just similar in colour to a week of being in the sun :)

I didn't apply it to my face but next time i will definitely give it a try. The bonus with this tan is the fact that i could of applied it and gone out without feeling conscious as there were no muddy or green patches like some of the brands i have used. Perfect for a last minute night out.

There was also only a very slight fake tan smell, its definitely one of the least smelling tans Ive used.

The colour developed into a lovely bronzed even tan and i am really pleased with the results.

I haven't tried the moisturiser yet but it again smells lovely so i will be updating you on it in due course. Next i want to try the facial gel as i like to tan my face to match my body.

If you are looking for a great tan whether you are a newby to fake tan or a bit of a fake tan fan like me then this is a great option.
Have you tried the He- Shi Range before? Available from He-Shi online here

  1. these sound like really good products :) i'm looking around for a good fake tan but am nervous to try some because I'm a very pale red head! Do you think this would be too dark for me..? x

  2. good for you.. furtunelly my skin is already tanned since i am Mexican jejej it is good that you do all this explanation so we can know about the product before buying it.. thanks

  3. These products seem to be amazing! I was absolutey stunned by the before and after pictures I've seen on some blogs x

  4. Thanks for the replies girls, hannah, i dont think it would be too dark the colour is actually very natural and it does not streak as you can see where you are applying it. xx

Liliana lucky you to be naturally tanned. I am half italian and so i go brown very fast in the sun but we dont have much sun here so i have to fake it xx

Gaby, i did some before and after photos but i acidently wiped them off my camera grrr i will put some up next time i apply it which i would imagine will be quite soon lol xx

  5. I have their gradual tan that I got from the Look show, have yet to try it but hope its as good as these sound xx

  6. ooh lucky you yayyy

ps i think you look lovely pale - the dark eyes and eyebrows - very pussy cat dollish :)

  7. This sounds really lovely... I've seen the brand online but haven't actually tried it before. I'm incredibly pale so it's not easy to find a fake tan that doesn't look fake! I generally use a different one every summer (last year was Clinique and the year before was St Tropez) so I reckon these will be worth a shot this year cos the prices look reasonable and you've answered every single question I'd have asked! :)

Looking forward to hearing what you think of the moisturiser ♥

  9. I tried the exfoliator ages ago and I didn't like but then I don't do self-tan so I probably wasn't the target audience!

Thankyou for all your comments, i appreciate each and everyone xx
