Stila Sale Bargain Buy!

Oooh i found a brilliant bargain today while shopping at TK Max. I found 2 sets of 3 stila products reduced down to just £5 a set. The products were sealed so i couldn't test or really see the colours but for £10 for 6 items i thought I'd chance it.
This has to be my best buy so far for 2011 ha.
For £10 i managed to bag myself all these :

SPF 30 Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser in medium 01
SPF15 Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser shade 02

Matte Eyeshadow in Batura a dark purple/ brown colour.
Eyeshadow in Sparkle a golden taupe

SPF 20 Shine Lip Colour in Tina 07 a bronze/red sheer lipstick

Kajal eyeliner in Topaz which is a peach/pink soft liner which works on the inner rim instead of a white for an open eyed look.

I popped the shadows straight into my Z palette

First impressions of the shadows are brilliant. The pigmentation is beautiful and they feel buttery soft.
Do you girls have any stila products? I have only tried a handful of stila products before so i can't wait to try this little lot out.

Burn Baby Burn !

Evening lovely ladies, today's post is well overdue. I have been meaning to tell you about some fabulous wax tart melts that i recently received from a fellow blogger Martine.

Now i am a sucker for gorgeous smelling goodies and anyone who comes to our home always comments on the various scents that i have burning around the house.

I was kindly sent these for reviewing purposes and here's what i thought:

Firstly look how cute they looked when they arrived, all neatly individually wrapped to keep in the freshness and hand tied with ribbon.

I received a beautiful selection of fragrances, colours and designs. As soon as the package arrived i could smell the fragrances through the paper which is always a good sign.

The quality of these melts are amazing. When i say I've tested a lot of various melts, i mean I've tested ALOT of  melts ha. The fragrances i tried out have the perfect balance of being strong enough to fill the room and last for days of burn time.

My favourite out of this little bundle was the pink sugar which is spot on with the perfume. You get a real sweet sugary hit with an undertone of dark caramel. Gorgeous.

My 2nd favourite was the fresh snow which smells like a fresh mint which is really uplifting, it also has a slightly sweet undertone to it.

Having said that all the fragrances i tried were beautiful and i will definitely repurchase.
I much prefer the wax tarts to scented candles as i find the scent is stronger and i can change my fragrance to suit my mood.

Martine hand makes each and everyone of her melts and has a huge range to choose from including, foody, fresh and floral. Something for everyone.
If you would like to place an order you can contact martine on her facebook page Tartilicious

Thanks Martine my house smells even more gorgeous than normal and i will be reordering soon xx

Full on lashes & Happy New Year !

2011 already, wow last year went so fast. I had a brilliant evening with friends last night and the Cupcakes went down a treat.
I decided to try out my False lashes that i showed you in my previous post

 Top Lashes
 Bottom Lashes
I brought these from a brilliant seller on EBay for just £1.98 Here

I was a bit dubious about applying the bottom lashes as it's something i have never tried before and although the 1st one was a bit tricky, the 2nd one went on easily. I think the results are worth it though as they look a bit Wow in my opinion anyway.

I wore a simple cream top with a few gold sequined detail on the shoulders.

Added some Gold dangly earrings

Cream & Gold Ring

Big Gold Bangles.
Have you ever tried bottom lashes before? I can see these turning into a favourite for special occasions as i love the full on effect they give. I was a little worried at first that i might end up looking like a drag queen ( Not that there's anything wrong with drag queens ) But my friends all loved my lashes and after 1 or two vodka's i forgot i had them on.
The quality of the lashes is great, the base is soft and flexible and they stayed on until i removed them at about 2am.
Hope you all had a brilliant evening and here's to 2011 xxx
