Complete Happiness from Clinique!

Is it too early to start thinking about Xmas yet?
The answer to that is probably yes but in this case I'm going to make an exception as i think this gorgeous little set is going to be sold out way before the festive period really starts.

Complete Happiness £25 Clinique from October
This gorgeous little set contains:
  • Clinique Happy, 7ml
  • Clinique Happy Heart, 7ml
  • Clinique Happy In Bloom, 7ml
  • Clinique Happy Wreath of Flowers, 7ml
  • Clinique Hint of Citrus, 7ml
Now i am a big Happy fan and i've tried the first three fragrances and love them so am very excited to try the Happy Wreath of flowers and the Hint of Citrus.
These would be perfect to pop in your handbag and i love anything in miniature size. It just looks so much nicer.

Confession time: I always buy myself a little gift and wrap it up and put it under the tree and write love from the kids ha. This might just have to be that little treat :)

Have you tried any of the Happy fragrances?

A Scent for Summer!

Morning girlies. Summer has officially hit my garden this week with the sun shining brightly it makes me feel all happy and fuzzy.
I have a perfect Summer fragrance which i was sent for review purposes which i have been using everyday since receiving.

Issey Miyake A Scent

The product is described as:
A green and feminine fragrance. A fresh signature scent, drawing inspiration from nature's essentials: leaves, flowers, wood. A green, floral, woody fragrance.

For me personally. I really enjoy wearing this scent as an everyday perfume. Its fresh, uplifting. Its nothing like the other Issey Miyake fragrances that Ive tried before. Its much fresher, lighter and a pleasant surprise as to be honest I'm not a huge fan of some of the other Issey Miyake fragrances.

Top Notes: Verbena
Heart Notes: Hyacinth and jasmine
Base Notes: Galbanum

The bottle itself is lovely. Heavy solid and classy looking. Its taken pride of place on my dressing table as i only like to have one bottle out at a time. I keep the rest tucked away in a pretty box.

The Fragrance also has a range of enhancing body products. A shower  gel, body lotion and deodorant so if you are a lady that likes to layer then this is perfect.

If you are looking for a subtle, fresh, grown up fragrance then give this a try. I could smell the green fresh hit immediately which dried down to a soft almost powderery floral which is really delicate and pretty.

Available from Escentual.com who have the fragrance at a massive discount price at the moment.

30ml £16.50 instead of the RRP £30.64
50ml £25.00 instead of the RRP £47.49
100ml £33.50 instead of the RRP £68.43

A Bargain in my eyes. Have you tried this fragrance for yourself and if so what do you think?

Pacifica Fresh Scents !

Spring/ Summer is upon us and for me that means a change in perfumes. I am always searching for that perfect fresh scent and so the Pacifica range was one i was keen to try out.
For those of you who are not familiar with the range let me tell you Pacifica is a fabulous range of products which host unusual and different blended fragrances as well as Soaps, candles, body butters so you can layer away to your hearts content. I was sent two Perfumes to try:

 Waikiki Pikake Perfume

Tahitian Gardens

I Love the pretty bottles which contain 30g Each

Waikiki Pikake is described as:
A homage to the lush wooded and flowered paradise of old world Hawaii, this hauntingly beautiful blend combines sweet Pikake - a delicate, exquisite jasmine flower native to Hawaii - with sensuous and velvety sandalwood.

for me this is a really unusual but lovely combination. Its unlike any perfume Ive tried before. The first thing that hits me when i spray it on is the Freshness and the sweet Jasmine but as it dries down you get the sandalwood coming through.
I always think these types of fresh fragrances seem to fade quite quickly but my husband actually commented on how nice it was about 4 hrs after applying it so i was shocked.

Tahitian Gardenia is described as:
This heady, vintage-inspired blend showcases the sacred Gardenia bloom, a symbol of love, unity, grace and strength. It's sweet, smooth and slightly citrusy aroma is reminiscent of Jasmine, Sweet Orange and Tea Leaves.

This scent for me is quite a strong gardenia but yet it is still very fresh and reminds me of a spring day with flashes of the sweet orange coming through.
Although this is not a perfume that i would automatically go for i have found myself wearing it a lot as it is really uplifting and quite subtle once it settles on my skin.

I am really intrigued about the other products in the range. I would love to try the Hawaiian Ruby Guava or the Tuscan Blood Orange. Because i have a bit of a soft spot for fruity fragrance.

Another great factor about these products is the fact that they are all free of Parabens, phtlates, sulphates, propylene glycol, vegan and cruelty free. So natural ingredients all the way.

Has anybody else tried any of the products, i wonder what the body butters are like? All these products can be purchased from  Himalaya
Do you change your perfume when the weather starts to brighten up?

Burn Baby Burn !

Evening lovely ladies, today's post is well overdue. I have been meaning to tell you about some fabulous wax tart melts that i recently received from a fellow blogger Martine.

Now i am a sucker for gorgeous smelling goodies and anyone who comes to our home always comments on the various scents that i have burning around the house.

I was kindly sent these for reviewing purposes and here's what i thought:

Firstly look how cute they looked when they arrived, all neatly individually wrapped to keep in the freshness and hand tied with ribbon.

I received a beautiful selection of fragrances, colours and designs. As soon as the package arrived i could smell the fragrances through the paper which is always a good sign.

The quality of these melts are amazing. When i say I've tested a lot of various melts, i mean I've tested ALOT of  melts ha. The fragrances i tried out have the perfect balance of being strong enough to fill the room and last for days of burn time.

My favourite out of this little bundle was the pink sugar which is spot on with the perfume. You get a real sweet sugary hit with an undertone of dark caramel. Gorgeous.

My 2nd favourite was the fresh snow which smells like a fresh mint which is really uplifting, it also has a slightly sweet undertone to it.

Having said that all the fragrances i tried were beautiful and i will definitely repurchase.
I much prefer the wax tarts to scented candles as i find the scent is stronger and i can change my fragrance to suit my mood.

Martine hand makes each and everyone of her melts and has a huge range to choose from including, foody, fresh and floral. Something for everyone.
If you would like to place an order you can contact martine on her facebook page Tartilicious

Thanks Martine my house smells even more gorgeous than normal and i will be reordering soon xx
