This week i have been:

This week i have been eating a strict diet to try and lose some weight. I always have people ask me how i lose weight as when i put my mind to it i can usually lose about half a stone to 10 pounds in around 3/4 weeks so that's my aim again.

For breakfast i will either have a poached egg on toast or a shake of some kind. 
For lunch i will either have a salad with chicken or tuna or a shake
For dinner i will have chicken or fish with veg and a very small potion of rice sometimes.

I'm drinking the herbalife shakes at the moment. This one is Apple Cinnamon and its really nice

Apart from that i drink plenty of fluids, some days i eat fruit as well. Its pretty strict but i find it works and works fast. 
I also try not to eat after 5pm. That's the hardest part for me.

 I have lost 3 pounds in my first 5 days so I'm pleased.

For me i need to have little treats along the way or else i feel deprived and give in so one day a week i have a treat like a Chinese or something.
I also reward myself when Ive lost a few pounds. It doesn't have to be something big.
I choose these Yankee candle tarts for my reward this week. It sounds silly but i need little rewards along the way.

I also got myself this slinky black number for when i reach my target :)

Motivation comes in form of clothes for me and i loved this dress as soon as i saw it but there is no way i could wear it at the moment.

I have also started a new skin care regime with Murad so i will keep you updated on that.

    Clothes are also my motivation.
    I drink Maxitone shakes, have never come across Herbalife ones, apple and cinnamon sounds yummy though.

  3. well done hun, I think you are going about it the right, sensible way and loosing weight steadily rather than crash diet. Also buying little treats along the way helps :-) i am getting married next year and I am starting my healthy eating/more exercise routine soon. x

  4. we all seem to have the same idea - could you pass on where to get the herbalife/maxitone shakes from ? cutting down and walking 2 dogs hopefully should do the trick lol !

  5. Well done on the weight loss! I've swapped one meal a day for a fruit and veg smoothie. I change the ingredients up daily so I don't get bored. I have loads more energy, can get by on less sleep, my IBS is loads better and I feel great. I wish I'd done this years ago! x

  8. i love the idea of treats along the way, candles are better than treating yourself with cakes which is what i used to do. i used to do shakes and id lose 10lbs easy but always put back on, ive done slimming world and lost 2stone and kept it all off as eating tonnes of healthy food. its the only way ive kept it off and then some. good luck, new year is always a good time to start x
