Massage Candles Lurrrrrrve!

Yesterday i asked on twitter if people knew how to use a massage candle and was informed that a fair few of you didn't so i thought I'd write a little post about my massage candles and how to use them.
After all Valentines will soon be here and what better time to try one?

I made both of these below but decided on the heart shaped tins because they are easier to pour because of the pointed tip.

Massage candles can be made out of various ingredients but mine are made from Shea butter, Cocoa Butter, soy, Sweet Almond oil and Apricot oil which is a stunning blend of natural oils with a small amount of Delicious fragrances added for a luxury finish.

Simply light the candle and leave to burn for around 10/ 15 minutes

Dim the lights (Much more flattering)

As the candle melts it creates a pool of warm melted oil. When you are ready just blow the candle out and pour the warm oil into your hands and massage away.

The oil doesn't get hot like wax as it melts at a much lower temperature and the oils leave your skin ultra soft, silky and smelling sweet.

Today i made these White Chocolate Fragranced Massage Candles with Valentines day in mind. They smell Amazing

I also have the silver heart shaped tins available in Bakewell Tart or Buttered Pecan & Maple

If you are single and like the look of these then another great way to use them is to light one and relax in the bath for a while then use the warm oil that will have melted afterwards on your body.

Depending on how long you let each candle burn for you will on average get 4 massages out of each tin . Priced at £5.99 i think they are a bargain and will definitely put you in the mood for Lurrrrve.
Available at Marshmallow Blends or on my Facebook page here

Thanks for reading and I'd love to know your thoughts on these xx

Korres Luminous finish blush!

Korres blushers have to be one of the easiest blusher ranges to apply. Perhaps its because the powders are finely milled so that the application somehow seems fool proof as you can literally apply a dusting and walk out the door or build them up for a more obvious blush to the cheeks.
Either way i am in love with these and I've been struggling to decide which to wear as they are all so pretty.

15 Natural
This has a real sheen to it which is hard to capture on camera, great for adding a bit of shimmer to your cheek bones.

16 Pink
This is a beautiful natural healthy pink colour that is very subtle but buildable. Would suit a lot of skin tones.

18 Peach
Perhaps my favourite. A pinky peach tone with a subtle shimmer. Gives a gorgeous healthy glow.

45 Coral
The deepest pigmentation out of all four blushers pink with red tones it looks beautiful with a neutral eye and red lips.

Me wearing no 18 Peach (Excuse the startled look lol)

These blushers are priced at £17.50 and available from Bath & Unwind here
I'm loving Korres products at the moment have you tried any of their blushers yet?

This week i have been:

This week i have been eating a strict diet to try and lose some weight. I always have people ask me how i lose weight as when i put my mind to it i can usually lose about half a stone to 10 pounds in around 3/4 weeks so that's my aim again.

For breakfast i will either have a poached egg on toast or a shake of some kind.
For lunch i will either have a salad with chicken or tuna or a shake
For dinner i will have chicken or fish with veg and a very small potion of rice sometimes.

I'm drinking the herbalife shakes at the moment. This one is Apple Cinnamon and its really nice

Apart from that i drink plenty of fluids, some days i eat fruit as well. Its pretty strict but i find it works and works fast.
I also try not to eat after 5pm. That's the hardest part for me.

I have lost 3 pounds in my first 5 days so I'm pleased.

For me i need to have little treats along the way or else i feel deprived and give in so one day a week i have a treat like a Chinese or something.
I also reward myself when Ive lost a few pounds. It doesn't have to be something big.
I choose these Yankee candle tarts for my reward this week. It sounds silly but i need little rewards along the way.

I also got myself this slinky black number for when i reach my target :)

Motivation comes in form of clothes for me and i loved this dress as soon as i saw it but there is no way i could wear it at the moment.

I have also started a new skin care regime with Murad so i will keep you updated on that.

Are you starting January with good intentions?
