Foundation Collection !

I thought I'd show you a peak of my foundation collection. I have 16 different ones at the moment which is a bit excessive but i do actually use them all. I've never been a foundation snob and I'm happy to try any foundation out before making judgment.

Foundations

I tend to wear these next 5 if i'm wanting a fuller coverage.
Rimmel 25hr, Clinique Dewy Smooth, Estee Lauder Doublewear in 2 different shades, Clinique repairware

The next 6 i wear if i want moderate coverage

Clinique even better, revlon colourstay, clarins skin illusion, chanel pro lumiere, revlon photo ready, stila illuminating foundation

These 4 i tend to wear when i want a natural look

Mac Face & Body, Clinique gentle light in 2 shades, airbase

This stick foundation is really old and discontinued from clinique. Its a few shades darker and i use it for contouring purposes. I cant bear to get rid of it as its still creamy and i cant buy it again :(

My latest foundation is the clarins illusion and i love it. A review coming very soon on this one

Unfortunately i am running out of room as you can see they are all kind of thrown in this drawer with concealers, powders and highlighters. Eeeek i hate disorganisation.

If there are any foundations on here you want me to review for you just let me know. How many is too many in your opinion ?

5 £5 or less Bargain Beauty Buys

I thought id do a little feature perhaps once a month or something with products that cost less than £5 that are great value for money.
After all everybody loves a bargain and when you are on a budget then its great to find things that don't cost the earth.

Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes with Tea tree £1 for 2 packs Primark

These wipes are pretty good for oily or spot prone skin. They do the job just as good as any and at £1 for 2 packs they are ideal for stocking up and saving a few pennies. I don't think any wipes will do the same job as a cleanser but for late nights and quick fixes these are great.

W7 Africa highlighter £1.99 See post here

Pretty highlighter that is suprisingly good quality for such a cheap price. Read my post for pictures of it on the face.

Sleek blusher in Pan Tao £4.30

Sleek blushers are such amazing value for money. Pan Tao is a beautiful peach/orange shade which is such a now colour for cheeks.
The pigmentation is just as good if not better than most high end brands. I think this is limited so if i only had a fiver left i think I'd put my money on this one.

Sleek True Colour Lipstick Peaches & Cream £4.00

A second Sleek product and a new one to me as i only got this shade last week but again the formula is brilliant and i would expect to pay a lot more for this than £4.00
Peaches & Cream is proving to be one of the most popular shades and i can understand why. Full coverage, stand out peachy but with a brightness somehow, its almost a pale coral if that makes sense. Non drying and lasts well too. Gorgeous.

W7 Honolulu Bronzer £1.99 Savers See post here

Last but not least the amazing bronzer that costs just £1.99. Nothing else to say that's not been said in my post. If you can get one then grab it before they sell out.

I'd love some feedback as to whether or not you like this post so i can decide if t make it a regular feature or not ???

MAC Ambering Rose blusher !

I received Mac Ambering Rose this week in a swap. At first glimps i thought it looked a bit scary in the pan and probably one i would of walked straight past if I'd seen it on a counter.

The formula is sheertone and it looks a kind of terracotta, bronzy, copper colour with flecks of golden shimmer. It is really pigmented and just 1 swipe is plenty to give a flush of colour.
It's quite unlike any of my other blushers in my collection and like a lot of blushers it looks so much nicer once on the skin.

Below i am wearing it for the first time. I have found it works really well with NARS illuminator in orgasm which i got this week in my glossybox.

I'd not really heard much about this shade before but it is really pretty and probably the most pigmented blusher out of all my MAC ones.
Hope you've all had a good weekend xx

EOTD Silver glitter !

Silver glittery eyes!

I thought I'd have a little play this morning and here's how it turned out. I wanted a glittery eye that was a bit smokey too. I'm quite pleased with the results and thing this would be nice for a night out or a party .
Products Used!

Beauty UK Metallic Sparks pencil in grey
Beauty UK Eyeshadow palette 04
Holo glitter from www.wimpernwelle.de
Glitter Gel from www.wimpernwelle.de
Clinique cream liner black
Bad Gal Mascara in blue

I applied the Beauty UK metallic sparks pencil on my lid very roughly. This makes a nice deep base and makes it slightly sticky for the next steps. The colour is a beautiful gunmetal grey.

Then i dotted a small amount of fixing gel on top to make the lid sticky

Next i used a brush to pat the glitter on. I love this glitter as its so fine. It is really sparkly but only when it catches the light and so so pretty.

Then i used the black/white and greys from the Beauty UK palette to add a smokey look to the eye. This palette is incredible value for money. It costs just £3.99 and the quality is brilliant. I've not used this palette much but can't wait to try the other shades out.

I applied some Clinique cream liner on the top and bottom and smudged some of the Beauty UK grey shadow underneath the eyes.
To finish i applied mascara and false lashes.

Hope you like this look and as always thanks for all your comments. Have a great weekend girlies xx
