Bronze & Glo With He-shi & Jemma Kidd

Hi there my gorgeous girlie's, i am really excited about this post as i have found two amazing products that i can't wait to rave about.
I thought i would review them together as i wore them together yesterday and loved the results.

Let me warn you though the He-shi Dark tanning Mousse is not really for the fair skinned natural beauty but for those of us who dream of a deep dark tan then look no further:

The He-Shi Dark Foaming Mousse was sent to me for reviewing purposes and whilst i really liked the colour of the lotion this is 100 times better for me personally.
I used the He-shi tanning mitt to apply and to be honest i just slapped it on quite heavy handedly making sure I'd covered everywhere which was easy as it contains an instant colour guide so you can see where you are applying.

The mousse is incredibly easy to apply and dries really fast too. I even used what was left on my tanning mitt to tan my face something i rarely do with a body tan.

I did exfoliate in the shower first before applying this and i left it a good 8 hrs before showering off. Oh i might add there is a slight tanning smell after a few hrs of wearing this but its not as bad as most :)

The Results : Eeek bloody hell I'm brown first came to mind but as i examined my tan ( like you do ) i noticed how even it looked with no streaks or patches at all.

Me wearing He-Shi Dark Mousse

As for wearing the tan on my face it came out a gorgeous colour and i had matchy face & body for a change.
If you want a great deep dark tan that's easy to apply then this is the one. It says you can apply another layer to make it darker but i think this is as dark as i can go without looking too OTT.
You can buy this from the He-shi website here priced at £27 yes a bit pricey but worth every penny.

My second product i want to tell you about is the Contour & Flush Duo by Jemma Kidd. I purchased this a while back from feel unique at £18

 Contour & Flush

The website states:
-Lightweight, blendable crème blush duo with added mica for luminosity and radiance.
- Bronze tone to contour and add a sun-kissed glow.
- Pink tone to add a bright flush to cheeks.

 Swatches

This was a bit of an impulse buy, i just thought it looked pretty and might be nice for the summer. I tried it a few times and because the texture is so light and creamy i didn't find it showed up very well but yesterday i tried it with a different brush ( what a difference a brush can make )
I used it with my ELF flat top brush and i just love how it looks.

The contour is very subtle on my tanned skin but would work beautifully on a more fair/medium skin. It gives a lovely dewy glow on the cheeks even my 3 year old noticed lol

I can see these two products becoming my staples throughout the warmer months or when i want to look a bit more glam.
Do you like a deep tan or do you like the natural look ??
I've not tried many Jemma Kidd products but this has to be my favourite from the range so far. xx

Random snippets !

Hi there my gorgeous girlies, todays post is a bit of a Random mix of updates and things i want to tell you about.

Firstly My He-Shi Tan that i stupidly erased the photograps from has been reapplied and snapped to show you how it looked. I cant do a Fake tan review without photos now can i?

This is 2 layers so bear that in mind.
 1 hr after application

 Fully Developed

I really am impressed with this tan. The only little niggle i have is the fact that it seemed to leave my skin a little bit drier than normal. But on the whole i really like it and its one of the better ones that ive tried. Full review here

This week i am testing out Airbase and loving the light texture and makeup free feel. The colour is a perfect match as well :) Full review coming soon.

Shade Medium

My occ lip tars arrived this morning with a little mixing palette. I cant wait to start using these.

Cha Cha & Trollop

Yesterday my Lipstick organiser arrived from China. I have been looking everywhere for one that holds 24 lippys in the UK and i just couldnt get one. I am thinking of buying these in bulk and selling as they are so hard to find here.

My lipsticks look so much better in this than stashed away in my drawer where i can never find them. Only trouble is i need another one really but im running out of room on my dressing table. Think its time for a clear out again.
Hope you are all having a fabulous week and as always thankyou for all your lovely comments. You girls are the best xx

He-Shi Tanning !

Hello guys and gals, as you lot probably already know, i love the bronzed look. Pale just isn't me and so when i was asked if i would like to try out the He-Shi Tanning products i jumped at the chance.

He-Shi Exfoliating Bodywash is a luxurious face and body exfoliator containing fruit AHA's and scrub particles to gently remove dead skin cells whilst micro-dermabrasion crystals smooth the skin in preparation for tanning

This smells gorgeous really fruity and fresh and the particles give a really good thorough scrub without being too harsh. RRP £12.00

He-Shi Express Liquid Tan is a self tanning bronzer which can be used on both the body and the face, it tans instantly on contact with the skin, giving a lovely bronzed complexion.

What did i think?

When i opened the bottle i was a bit surprised as the product is very liquidy it looks like soy sauce to be honest and i have always used either a cream, spray or mousse formula so thought it might be hard to apply.
But as soon as i started to apply the liquid i was genuinely pleased as the liquid spreads so easily and the instant colour was brilliant so i could see exactly where i was applying it.

The colour guide before it develops is a gorgeous natural brown, no orange undertones just similar in colour to a week of being in the sun :)

I didn't apply it to my face but next time i will definitely give it a try. The bonus with this tan is the fact that i could of applied it and gone out without feeling conscious as there were no muddy or green patches like some of the brands i have used. Perfect for a last minute night out.

There was also only a very slight fake tan smell, its definitely one of the least smelling tans Ive used.

The colour developed into a lovely bronzed even tan and i am really pleased with the results.

I haven't tried the moisturiser yet but it again smells lovely so i will be updating you on it in due course. Next i want to try the facial gel as i like to tan my face to match my body.

If you are looking for a great tan whether you are a newby to fake tan or a bit of a fake tan fan like me then this is a great option.
