Bright Eyes!

I was recently looking back over some old photos and noticed that my eye makeup looked quite nice in some of the photos. It was then that it struck me that these days i have turned back into the neutral girl.

For some reason i have either been wearing just mascara and liner lately or a very neutral brown eyeshadow.
Partially because of lack of time and partially because I've just got into that habit.

So I'm going to force myself to wear something different at least once a week after all i have some gorgeous shadows just sitting there so its time to get creative again.
Here are a few of my previous looks that i really liked:

Are you a neutral eyed kind of girl or do you like to mix your shadows up?

EOTD !

I was a bit stuck on what to post today so as i was looking back at a few photo's from last week i remembered that i had done an eye make up look that i really liked so thought I'd share it with you.

Illamasqua Beguile & Mac Mineralised Shadow

Urban Decay Naked Palette Virgin

Urban Decay Naked Palette Gunmetal

I really like these colours together and i think the false lashes add to the girly effect.
I was planning on making my first utube video today but i decided to leave it till tomorrow, that's if I'm feeling brave :)

Hope you are all well & as always thanks for following xx

Sleek Moonlit Metals EOTD!

Sleek's molten Metal eyeshadow duo has hit the counters. I'm not really a cream eyeshadow girl but i have to say i really love this one. Perfect for the party season and adding some eye catching drama to your makeup.

Molten Metal Duo RRP £6.99

 Swatches!

EOTD!

This silver duo of Steel & Ash is a gorgeous combination and really looks quite dramatic in real life. The creams are highly pigment and smooth to apply.

As they are a cream they will not last all day without creasing but do i care? Not really :)

I'm now hoping for a fancy dress Xmas party where i can go as an ice queen, this would be perfect.
Have you seen these in your local Superdrug? Do you like the metallic look?

My Green Eyed Gal EOTD!

What's a girl to do on a dreary Thursday morning? Apart from eating Chocolate pancakes and drink coffee?
But there's only so much eating and drinking i can do so i thought I'd have a play with a couple of green eyeshadows and here's what i came up with:

Products used MUA Shade 3, Mac Naked Lunch, Mac Bows & Curtsy, Mac Black Tied

I have to say i am rather late in jumping on the band wagon for the MUA products. I have had this bright green pigment for ages but just not got round to using it. It has a really pretty sparkle to it and blends beautifully. A bargain price at 99p from superdrug

The obligatory looking down shot!

Of course i added some false lashes to finish the look. These were some random ones that had no name on them but i think they are quite pretty.

It may be a bit full on for sitting around the house but Ive got a good excuse, I'm a beauty blogger right?

EOTD Silver glitter !

Silver glittery eyes!

I thought I'd have a little play this morning and here's how it turned out. I wanted a glittery eye that was a bit smokey too. I'm quite pleased with the results and thing this would be nice for a night out or a party .
Products Used!

Beauty UK Metallic Sparks pencil in grey
Beauty UK Eyeshadow palette 04
Holo glitter from www.wimpernwelle.de
Glitter Gel from www.wimpernwelle.de
Clinique cream liner black
Bad Gal Mascara in blue

I applied the Beauty UK metallic sparks pencil on my lid very roughly. This makes a nice deep base and makes it slightly sticky for the next steps. The colour is a beautiful gunmetal grey.

Then i dotted a small amount of fixing gel on top to make the lid sticky

Next i used a brush to pat the glitter on. I love this glitter as its so fine. It is really sparkly but only when it catches the light and so so pretty.

Then i used the black/white and greys from the Beauty UK palette to add a smokey look to the eye. This palette is incredible value for money. It costs just £3.99 and the quality is brilliant. I've not used this palette much but can't wait to try the other shades out.

I applied some Clinique cream liner on the top and bottom and smudged some of the Beauty UK grey shadow underneath the eyes.
To finish i applied mascara and false lashes.

Hope you like this look and as always thanks for all your comments. Have a great weekend girlies xx

Sleek Good Girl Look !

Hi there my beautiful  girlies, this morning i decided to go totally opposite to the Halloween theme and try out my Good Girl Palette that i purchased this week from Superdrug.
I have most of Sleek's palettes and have always been super impressed by the pigmentation, variety of colours and value for money.
My 2 most recent purchases:

 Good girl Palette:

 Bad Girl Palette:

As a lover of the smokey eyes i was immediately drawn to the Bad girl palette but the Good girl palette was something that i didn't really have in my collection as I'm not a pink eyeshadow kind of girl but i thought it was so pretty i got it anyway lol.

I tried it out this morning and have to say i love the look i created with it. This palette is a lot more wearable and versatile than i first thought.

I used from the Good Girl Palette:

Meringue as a wash of colour on my eyes, some black eyeliner and mascara.
Meringue & candyfloss on my cheeks with a duo fibre brush
Strawberry Sorbet on the lips with clear gloss over the top.

You can really use these colours as eye shadows, blushers, lip products and so this palette will be getting used a lot more than first impressions would suggest.
I will of course be using the bad girl very soon but once again Sleek have hit the Jackpot with this gorgeous Palette. xx
