Hey there sweet cheeks !

Hey there sweet cheeks is the best i could come up with for a title for a post on the new Sleek Mediterranean blusher. I have been quite excited about this release as i am a sucker for bright blushers and i am a big fan of the sleek ones.

I have to say i didn't bother with the rest of the collection but knew i had to get my hands on this little beauty:
Santorini blush £4.29 from superdrug

The blusher is a scary bold bright pink/purple in the pan and its really pigmented so i knew i would have to use this with my duo fiber brush. I love the fact that these blushers cost less than a fiver and last forever. Brilliant value for money and i am getting quite a nice little collection.

I didn't buy the pout polish but instead decided to dab my lips with the sleek powder pink polish that i had previously brought.

I love how the bright blush gives a doll like flush to the cheeks and for me a bright lip takes the focus away from the cheeks so i feel much more comfortable keeping the lip colour fresh and pretty rather than bright.

I kept the eyes quite neutral with just lashings of mascara, eyebrows groomed and filled and a little eyeliner on the bottom lashes
. oh and very messy hair :)

I dabbed a tiny amount of the blusher on the lips first and smudged it in before applying the powder pink pout just to give it a bit more depth.

I wore my plain white vest top and comfy cut offs. By the way i don't know what the white mark is on my arm it wasn't there in real life. Somebody says it looks like an orb? I get them now and again when i take photos, any ideas?

I know some places have sold out already as the sleek limited products are getting so popular. So if you like the look of any of the products you might need to be fast. xx

Bronze & Glo With He-shi & Jemma Kidd

Hi there my gorgeous girlie's, i am really excited about this post as i have found two amazing products that i can't wait to rave about.
I thought i would review them together as i wore them together yesterday and loved the results.

Let me warn you though the He-shi Dark tanning Mousse is not really for the fair skinned natural beauty but for those of us who dream of a deep dark tan then look no further:

The He-Shi Dark Foaming Mousse was sent to me for reviewing purposes and whilst i really liked the colour of the lotion this is 100 times better for me personally.
I used the He-shi tanning mitt to apply and to be honest i just slapped it on quite heavy handedly making sure I'd covered everywhere which was easy as it contains an instant colour guide so you can see where you are applying.

The mousse is incredibly easy to apply and dries really fast too. I even used what was left on my tanning mitt to tan my face something i rarely do with a body tan.

I did exfoliate in the shower first before applying this and i left it a good 8 hrs before showering off. Oh i might add there is a slight tanning smell after a few hrs of wearing this but its not as bad as most :)

The Results : Eeek bloody hell I'm brown first came to mind but as i examined my tan ( like you do ) i noticed how even it looked with no streaks or patches at all.

Me wearing He-Shi Dark Mousse

As for wearing the tan on my face it came out a gorgeous colour and i had matchy face & body for a change.
If you want a great deep dark tan that's easy to apply then this is the one. It says you can apply another layer to make it darker but i think this is as dark as i can go without looking too OTT.
You can buy this from the He-shi website here priced at £27 yes a bit pricey but worth every penny.

My second product i want to tell you about is the Contour & Flush Duo by Jemma Kidd. I purchased this a while back from feel unique at £18

 Contour & Flush

The website states:
-Lightweight, blendable crème blush duo with added mica for luminosity and radiance.
- Bronze tone to contour and add a sun-kissed glow.
- Pink tone to add a bright flush to cheeks.

 Swatches

This was a bit of an impulse buy, i just thought it looked pretty and might be nice for the summer. I tried it a few times and because the texture is so light and creamy i didn't find it showed up very well but yesterday i tried it with a different brush ( what a difference a brush can make )
I used it with my ELF flat top brush and i just love how it looks.

The contour is very subtle on my tanned skin but would work beautifully on a more fair/medium skin. It gives a lovely dewy glow on the cheeks even my 3 year old noticed lol

I can see these two products becoming my staples throughout the warmer months or when i want to look a bit more glam.
Do you like a deep tan or do you like the natural look ??
I've not tried many Jemma Kidd products but this has to be my favourite from the range so far. xx

MAC Ambering Rose blusher !

I received Mac Ambering Rose this week in a swap. At first glimps i thought it looked a bit scary in the pan and probably one i would of walked straight past if I'd seen it on a counter.

The formula is sheertone and it looks a kind of terracotta, bronzy, copper colour with flecks of golden shimmer. It is really pigmented and just 1 swipe is plenty to give a flush of colour.
It's quite unlike any of my other blushers in my collection and like a lot of blushers it looks so much nicer once on the skin.

Below i am wearing it for the first time. I have found it works really well with NARS illuminator in orgasm which i got this week in my glossybox.

I'd not really heard much about this shade before but it is really pretty and probably the most pigmented blusher out of all my MAC ones.
Hope you've all had a good weekend xx

Forgive me Nars for i have Sinned!

I have wanted to buy Nars Sin forever but me being me didn't want to part with the cash hehe. Anyway i decided to bite the bullet and get it eventually and I'm so pleased i did. I've worn it so much since buying it and its such an easy colour to wear.
The texture is silky and easy to blend. It has a pretty shimmer but its not OTT.

I would describe it as a slightly plum/pink deep colour that can look really subtle or strong and glam depending on how its applied.
A Classic colour and a must have item for all you blusher fans out there. xx

NARS Marta Hari Blush

Hey ladies, just a little post as i have been so busy this weekend. I have had this a few weeks now and its so beautiful that i had to share it with you. This photographs really badly in real life its a lot brighter almost doll pink.

Marta Hari is a matte bright pink with an almost plum tinge when its applied on my skin. I have been wearing it so much. Beautiful and natural in the day for a fresh minimal makeup look or layered on at night for a real pinched cheeks look.
For evening i like to add a highlighter as i just don't feel right without a little bit of shimmer on a night out. Its by far my favourite blush at the moment.

Nars blushers are always raved about and with this little beauty i can understand why. I've also ordered sin so i will update you on that when it arrives. What do you think? Do you have either of these blushers and do you think Nars lives up to the hype?

Dupe Allert For UK Girls !

I know ive posted once already today but this morning i was having a play with the bronzer ( more of a blusher in my eyes ) that i won from the lovely people over at BeautyUK when i thought it looked very familiar so of course i had to check it out for you lovely lot.

Heres what i found :

BeautyUK Bronzer £3.29 Versus Smashbox Gossamer soft lights $30

They are so similar when applied although the BeautyUK is a bit more pigmented so i dont need to build it up as much. Bearing in mind the price difference i know which one i would certainly go for. This gives a lovely sheen to the skin and i can see myself wearing it a lot in summer.

Yaaay for BeautyUK. This is my first dupe that ive found and im feeling quite pleased with myself ha. xx

Mac Blusher Palette & Swatches !

I had a request about my blush collection so thought i would break it down and firstly show you my Mac Palette.

As you can see I have 1 remaining gap to fill. I chose these colours simply because i liked the look of them. I wear pinks more than any other colour as i think they brighten my skin tone and make me look more fresh faced.

My favourite is Petal Point. Unfortunately it's limited edition. ( why do they make the best colours limited? )
Pink Swoon is my latest blush and its so pretty. I love the way its really sheer so you can have just a touch of colour or build it up for a pretty girly look.
I'm thinking of getting Dollymix to fill the last space. What's your favourite Mac Blush?
