Illamasqua Theatre of the Nameless

Illamasqua Theatre of the nameless collection has a bold and powerful feel to it. Shades are perfect for creating a bit of drama with deep shades and glossy finishes.
Illamasqua always take things to the next level with the creative looks that they conjure up and always push the boundaries with unusual distinctive looks.

It’s time to cross the threshold and embrace a world of
Unadulterated decadence …
I was sent three products from the Theatre of the nameless collection.

Raven Mascara, Beguile pure pigment, Belladonna intense lipgloss

The mascara brush is nice and large with a fat base that slims down towards the end

Lashes before!

Lashes with 1 coat!

I love this mascara, its totally jet black as the name raven suggests. It is also really pliable so you can maneuver the lashes for quite a while before it dries giving you complete control.
I didn't find it clumpy at all and it works really well even in just 1 coat for added length and thickness. This is the first Illamasqua mascara that Ive tried and I'm impressed.

The Illamasqua lipglosses are so pigmented and this one is a beautiful deep pink colour with a really comfortable texture that's bold and glossy. This looks a bit deeper in real life and the 2 times Ive worn it i have had people comment on it as its quite vivid.

The website states:
Made to be played with. A metallic, high-shine, pure-colour powder that highlights eyes, cheeks and brows. Mix with eye shadow, blusher or use it on its own to intense effect. Bring out your bold side.

This is such a stunning pigment and the photos just don't do it justice. The sheen is a silver/grey/multi colour that is radiant. I cant wait to play with this as i know it is going to be amazing.
For now i just applied a little to my lids for a subtle shimmery look.

Have you tried anything from this collection and what do you think of the products I've tried?

ILLAMASQUA TOXIC NATURE !

Illamasqua Toxic Nature is a collection that I'm sure most of us are well aware of.
After all the stunning visuals which set the scene for this collection is one of the most memorable i have seen in a long time.

As well as pushing the boundaries with unorthodox  makeup looks i want to point out that the New Collection is actually very wearable and wanted to show you how some of the products look on the face of the everyday Jo Blogs ( little me )

Lipstick Flare £15.50

Cream Pigment Delirium £17.00

Nail Varnish Gamma £13.50

How i'm wearing mine !

I love how the Flare lipstick is so bold against the simplicity of a sweep of Delirium on the eyes

This look was so simple and quick yet makes a statement

Gamma Nail Polish is my new WOW colour

Shockingly Bright

All the products are available online from illamasqua.com

I think i may need to pick up the polish in Radium as well which is a bright lime green ( loving the brights )
I'm always impressed with Illimasqua launches as each one somehow seems to be above and beyond my expectations.
Are you planning on getting anything from this Collection?

Illamasqua Welcome to the Darkside !!!!

Hello Ladies I was lucky enough to be sent 2 of the new products from Illamasqua Art Of Darkness collection. Now i happen to really love Illamasqua products, i love the fact that they push the boundaries when it comes to makeup and always seem to come up with new and exciting launches.
The art of darkness is a full on impact collection with some gorgeous deep mysterious shades to offer both the professional makeup artist and the everyday consumer.

I have to say my favourite products from this collection are the nail polishes

The 2nd polish in this row is named Viridian and has to be a definite favourite priced at £13 it should be a popular choice this autumn/winter
Or you could get the whole set for £39.50. I would love to try these colours out they all look stunning.

So anyway i was sent a lipstick in Disciple which is a deep navy almost black colour which has a very matte finish.

Also i received the liquid metal in Resolute which is a deep russet colour with a beautiful high shine finish. This product is multi functional and can be used on eyes, lips, face & body.

Swatches:

These products gave me the inspiration to try out a look way out of my comfort zone, but it's the perfect range to have a play with and do something different. So here's what i came up with:

Liquid metal on eyes

These are the photos untouched showing the real colours but i decided they would look good in black and white instead.

So that's my take on the collection
I hope you like it xx
