Models Own Matt Brite Pink Hawaiian Lippy Love!

I knew from the moment i saw this lipstick that i had to have it. Pink Hawaiian captures the tropical shade perfectly and its a definite must have lippy for the summer. 

 One word LOVE!

The shade is matte but somehow it doesn't have any of the drying tendencies that a lot of the matte lipsticks seem to have. It doesn't sit in the lines and best of all it seriously lasts. I'd go as far as saying it's probably the most long lasting lipstick that i now own.

I knew as soon as i saw this lipstick that it was going to be a beauty. A seriously bright shocking pink/coral shade that cannot fail to stand out in the crowd.

I picked this shade for a night out on the town and i have been wearing it even since.

Berry Merry Xmas with Sleek Makeup!

Sleek have recently launched this gorgeous box set which is great value for money at just £10 and right on trend with its bold berry shades.

Cranberry Lipstick which is a deep vampy matte red shade. 

Fenberry Blush which id describe as a berry plum.

Mossberry Kohl Pencil which is a deep Burgundy shade which can be used on both the eyes and lips.

Of course i had to try them out for myself. No Deep red lippy gets past me without a venture onto the lips

The lipstick is a stunning dark red and although its matte i didn't find it drying at all and its not one of those lipsticks that clings and emphasises every tiny line either which is a nice change. I do like matte lips but some are not particularly flattering but I'm pleased to say this one is.

For me the blusher is the stand out product of all three in this box. I am a big fan of the Sleek blushers anyway and this one is a gorgeous colour that seems to warm my complexion up without looking overly flushed or made up. You only need a tiny amount as you do with most of the Sleek blushers.

This would make a lovely stocking filler for a friend or a little pick me up treat for yourself when you are doing the Xmas shopping :)

ARTDECO & The Perfect Autumn Lippy!

Artdeco's Autumn/ Winter collection is out and i have been lucky enough to get my hands on some of the products. I will do a full post on the new collection but i couldn't wait to tell you about this lipstick.
As soon as i swatched it i knew it was something special. A stunning deep red almost a Burgundy but somehow it has a slight softness to it rather than looking harsh like some.

This lipstick glides on and feels so silky on the lips. It's rare that you find a really good deep red and this looks great even with minimal makeup which lets face it is a massive bonus.

I have been told that the bold lip is in this season so i have been wearing it with just foundation, mascara and groomed eyebrows. A very easy quick look that takes hardly any time at all.

Sleek True Colour Lipsticks collection !

Hi there lovely ladies. Firstly i wanted to say thanks so much to all my followers i cant tell you how excited i am to have reached 1000 followers this week. Yaaay. I thought it might be helpful to show you some of the Sleek lipsticks up close and personal as i know they are popular and choosing colours can be a bit tough.

I thought some close up swatches might be of interest:

Ooh Ooh Orange !

This summer Bright colours are where it's at. For me it's all about the Orange.
Except for the tan of course :)
This week i have been wearing Illamasqua Flare lipstick which is about as bright orange as you can get.
At £15.50 it's not cheap but the colour is really beautiful and easy to pull off if you keep the rest of your makeup quite simple.

On my nails for the past 2 days i've been wearing GOSH Peachy. A gorgeous bright sunny orange. Sadly i cant get the true colour to show on the photos but think zingy almost neon bright peach.

As well as orange im looking forward to wearing Lime green, Vivid corals and Yellow on my nails this year. What about you?
