Sleek Mascara Review!

I received the latest Sleek Mascara "Lash Out" a while back and i have been using it ever since.
The packaging is Bright pink with a type of graffiti look.
Available from Superdrug or online for £7.00 which is a very reasonable price in my opinion

The brush is rather large but it does do a nice job of separating the lashes and the colour is a really good Jet Black.

I was going to show you a photo of 1 and 2 coats but instead i thought I'd show you how it looks with 3 thin coats as that's how Ive been wearing it.

It's a great mascara for people like me who need a nice thick formula for added definition and it can go a bit clumpy at times if I'm not careful but overall the formula works really well and as i said before Ive been reaching for it everyday as its quick to apply and adds a nice amount of definition for my daily look

Have you tried this mascara out yet?

BM Beauty Lash Curling Mascara!

I love a good Mascara, my lashes are really short, stubby and fine so mascara is a must have product in my makeup routine.

Recently i had the chance to try out the BM Beauty Lash Curling Mascara in Black and i wanted to show you the results.

The Mascara itself is infused with minerals and contains Beeswax, sunflower oil and vitamin E.
I always like to know whats in my products and this one luckily contains lots of natural, good for you skin friendly stuff.
The wand is a nice size and slightly tapered towards the end. I found it easy to control and managed to get a good full coating without any smudging.

Scary photo of my eye with zero mascara

Eyes with 2 coats of BM Beauty Mascara

I did find it curled my lashes nicely and the curl did last well. I would use this mascara for daytime use as it didn't have much thickening action going on but it did dramatically darken the lashes as the colour is a true dark black and it did make my lashes appear longer.
I am really impressed by the results on my lower lashes as it seems to have separated them and made them look a lot more defined.

Overall i like this mascara and lets be honest if it does this to my feeble lashes then I'm sure it will look fantastic on most people.

Priced at £12 and available directly from the BM Beauty Website here

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara Review!

I have waited a while to post this review as to be honest i was a little underwhelmed when i first started using this mascara.
I had read lots of positive comments about the Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara so was expecting high results, especially as i had read many times that it is very similar to DiorShow mascara which is one of my favourites.

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara!

My eyelashes are not the best but  once they are curled they are a decent length and a good mascara always makes a massive difference.

Naked Eye!

The brush is quite big in size but not too big that i had difficulties using it. The formula is a bit drier than what i am use to but i have to admit it does seem pretty similar to the DiorShow Mascara.

This mascara is one that seems to work better after using it a while. The first few times i used it i just didn't get the oomph that i like but the more i used it the more it seemed to thicken up. So much so that i am now loving it although i would definitely describe it as more of a day time mascara than evening.

1 Coat!

2 Coats!

What do you think? Pretty impressive in my eyes (pardon the pun). It also has some other really good features. It keeps my lashes nice and soft even when layered and it really is a jet black colour.

I'm really pleased that i persevered with this one. Boots have this on offer at the moment for just £7.99 here

Does anybody else find mascaras seem to get better with a little use?

Diorshow Black out Mascara Review

I am not one for spending loads on a mascara, simply because i think there are so many great high street ones out nowadays. But now and then i do splurge a little and my last splurge was on this Dior Mascara.
Diorshow Black Out Mascara RRP £22
or £21 from Escentual. com

I have to say i have had this mascara for a while now and have meaning to blog about it but kept forgetting (naughty blogger)
The brush is a medium size and looks nothing special. I do find it easy to use though as i find some of the bigger brushes a bit awkward sometimes.

The colour is a beautiful rich jet black which looks lovely and intense.

My lashes curled without mascara

1 Coat of Diorshow Black out mascara

As you can see just 1 coat gives full black lashes. I think it looks like i have eyeliner on my top lash line as the mascara seems to really define at the roots of my lashes. I don't think it adds much length to the lashes but i really like the result never the less.

I have been wearing this mascara and a little liner on the bottom lash line without eyeshadow a lot recently as the mascara seems to really open up my eyes without the need for much else.

  two coats

To be honest i don't usually use two coats as i feel one is enough and it starts to look a bit clumpy with two coats. Although saying that, if I'm going for a night out then i would wear it like this and love the thickness it gives.

This mascara is perfect for anybody with thin lashes that want to pump up the volume. It dries to a slick wet black look with no smudging or any irritation.
Would i buy it again? Yes but not for a while as there are so many mascaras I'm yet to try. xx
