Sleek Makeup Nude Collection! What's the hype?

Sleek Makeup have come up with lots of different palettes but this next launch is looking to be the most popular yet.
The Nude Collection boasts the type of colours that will enhance everybody from porcelain beauties to bronzed babes.

I was very excited to be sent a preview of the new products:

 Nude Palette £6.49

This palette is quite different to anything else i have. For a start it has a lot of matte colours in it which i am really pleased about. Secondly the top row of shades have some really good basic neutrals and highlighters which are somewhat lacking in my collection.
Thirdly the bottom row has a few nice deep colours to create a more smokey eye as well so its a really versatile product.

Suede Blush £4.29

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of the Sleek Makeup blushers and this one is no exception. The colour although a pretty taupe neutral is really pigmented even on my tanned skin. This is quite a matte shade as well and makes a nice everyday cheek colour that goes amazing well with the rest of the collection.

Bare Minimum Pout Polish £4.29

The pout polish smells amazing and feels beautiful and moisturising. The problem for me is that my lips are quite pigmented and the colour in this is very subtle. Therefore it looks pretty much like a clear gloss on my lips unless i put a bit of a neutral lipstick on underneath.

Of course i had to try all my new goodies out immediately and so tried two different looks.

The No Makeup Nude Look!

For the first look i used the matte subtle shades on my eyes Nubuck and Cappuccino, mascara a sweeping of the Suede blusher and the Bare minimum Pout Polish.
2nd Look Soft Smokey Nude!

This second look is adapted by adding the shade mineral earth to the lid and smudged under eyes. I also added a tiny amount of Noir to the outer edges for a bit of definition. I went heavier on the cheeks and added a more neutral lippy under the Pout Paint.

The Nude Collection launches on the 31st August and be purchased from Superdrug or online at Sleek makeup.
I'd put money on it that these are going to be flying off the shelves. What do you think of the colours? Are you like me, a nude girl at heart?

Beauty UK Polish in Jade !

Just a quick post today to show you the Beauty UK nail polish in Jade. Its such a pretty colour although its much more of an aqua blue/green rather than jade in my opinion.

I just happen to love this colour and ive had a few compliments today which is always nice.
I was lucky enough to win this as part of my prize a few months ago when i won a giveaway with BeautyUK but Ive only just got round to trying this one out. I think its one of those colours that looks much nicer on than in the bottle.

Priced at just £2.49 from superdrug or direct from the website here

Whilst i was looking at the website i noticed they have some rather fabulous looking other nail polishes which i am really keen to try out. Look at this gorgeous set of mini's: I really want to get this set, its perfect for holidays and summer tootsies.

Urban Girl mini polish set £4.99

Also i would love to try this shocking pink shatter polish priced at £2.99
I'm waiting for the mini's to come back into stock and then I'm going to place a little order after all £4.99 for 6 new colours is amazing value.

I've only tried 2 of the polishes before but both have been really lovely and smooth to apply with great coverage in just 2 coats and much better quality than a lot of higher priced polishes which Ive tried before.

Have you tried any of these polishes and if so what did you think ?

ASOS Paint Lily !

The weekend is over and I've been really busy so not much time for posting I'm afraid.
I couldn't resist showing you a quick pic of my nails today as i think the colour is really lovely.

Asos Paint Lily
I Love Jade Green it's such a fresh colour. I've had quite a few compliments on it. Just need a lovely green stone ring to compliment it so on the look out for that.
I love the way the Asos Paints apply, really smooth and good coverage BUT they chip extremely fast on me which i hate with a passion.
Seriously who has time to paint nails everyday?
Still this colour is too pretty to be sat in the bottle hence i painted both my nails and toes.

I wonder why they named this polish Lily? Lily Pad Maybe but Lily? Hmm don't quite get it but who cares i'm loving this colour and can see me wearing it a lot. Lets hope my Seche Vite does it stuff and i can make it last a few days at least.

Hope you've all had a brilliant weekend xxx

NOTD with China Glaze Crackle glaze in Cracked Concrete!

Hello ladies i was so lucky a few weeks ago when i won a competition from the lovely Mandi's Madness
where i won a bottle of China Glaze Crackle in the shade Cracked Concrete.
They are not out in the UK yet so when this promptly arrived in the post i couldnt help but whip off the polish i had on and give this a little special priority. ( Thanks Mandi )

I know lots of companies are launching the crackle polishes in all sorts of colours and i'm loving the craze as its so easy to make nails look a bit jazzy without much effort.

Cracked Concrete

With Essie Pink Parka as a base

Love It !

I found it best to apply quite a thin layer of the crackle glaze but it was nice and easy to apply. I will be trying to get my not so grubby looking hands on a few more of these colours when they hit the UK.
It gave me an excuse to get out my humoungus ring which i brought when i was on holiday in Las Vegas as i thought it looked nice against the grey and pink combo.
What do you think? Yay or Nay ?

Vamp it up Denny !

Last week i was lucky enough to win a competition hosted over at Welshbeautyblog  Thanks so much hun, i love my prize :)

I won 2 polishes and a Diamond VIP Nail Board

The red is beautiful, really rich and classic. Named Caught Red Handed.

My favourite though is the rich Vampy colour Forbidden Territory. I adore this colour.

I've never tried the Leighton Denny range before and i am really impressed. The application was effortless and as you can see the finish is beautiful and glossy. Have you tried this range before?

OOTD & Sleek Dissapointment

Now then gorgeous girlies, i have to say i am a bit disappointed with the sleek sale. I spend over an hr yesterday and the same again today trying to get an order through. So in the end i decided to give up and go shopping instead.
To be honest i only really wanted the Rose Gold blusher, the powder pink pout polish and lots of eyelashes.
Anyway this is my OOTD. Comfy and warm for a quick browse around town.

Jumper from Asda, Leggings from primark, Jewelry from primark.

I should of painted my nails but ran out of time this morning.

Simple hair and makeup. Oooh i tried my new Gosh concealer which i brought in Emmabeans blog sale. I really like it.

The left side of the photo i am wearing it to show you the difference, subtle but natural difference.

Last but not least i decided to buy the sleek items i wanted after all they are not exactly expensive are they. The Rose Gold looks so so pretty and the pout polish smells lush. Reviews to come soon xxx
