Foundations
I tend to wear these next 5 if i'm wanting a fuller coverage.
The next 6 i wear if i want moderate coverage
Clinique even better, revlon colourstay, clarins skin illusion, chanel pro lumiere, revlon photo ready, stila illuminating foundation
These 4 i tend to wear when i want a natural look
Mac Face & Body, Clinique gentle light in 2 shades, airbase
This stick foundation is really old and discontinued from clinique. Its a few shades darker and i use it for contouring purposes. I cant bear to get rid of it as its still creamy and i cant buy it again :(
My latest foundation is the clarins illusion and i love it. A review coming very soon on this one
Unfortunately i am running out of room as you can see they are all kind of thrown in this drawer with concealers, powders and highlighters. Eeeek i hate disorganisation.
If there are any foundations on here you want me to review for you just let me know. How many is too many in your opinion ?

ReplyDeleteI've only got 2 foundations! Bourjois Healthy Mix (summer colour, boo) and MAC Mineralize Satinfinish. I may try the 25hr one, as I want a fuller coverage and a friend uses it. I find my MAC foundation is too dewy and I feel it floats on top of my skin rather than actually 'adhering' to my skin.

Great collection hun, I only have 2! ha! You put me to shame, I actually hate shopping for foundation it's the worst bit for me the rest I love. I have MAC F&B and Chanek Pro Lumiere, I want Vitalumiere next xx

Being a TM girl (ha no longer a girl!)I still can't quite get over the fact that foundation formulations have improved over the years, and whilst I now need more coverage, I can't stop my application from making me look a bit mask like. I will peruse this post at leisure. Thankyou. Jan x

I can't wait for the clarins skin illusion foundation review as I might be buying it soon! I had their Truly Matte one and ran out totally loved it!

ReplyDeleteCowbiscuits i dont have any of the mac ones but do i really like the pro longwear which i got a sample for. I dont think mac shades are that great though and i find it hard to get a good match.
Chanel pro lumier is an amazing foundation, i have done a review if you just type it in the search box. The colours seem to have a wider choice too.
Perhaps nip to Clinique and estee lauder to see if they might give you a sample as they have some fab foundations too and lots of colour choice xx
I have a couple of tinted moisturisers and a few powder foundations too but didnt add these in as i thought the post would go on forever lol

ReplyDeletewow you actually beat me and I thought I was a foundation junkie =P But I think investing in foundation is ok coz your skin changes and you need to mix it up a lil from time to time.. We get bored of the same thing over and over again =P
ReplyDeleteClearly you love Clinique as do I. I also used to have that Clinique stick foundation and used every last bit of it. I bought a Bobbi Brown stick foundation thinking it would be the same but it's too heavy.

Wow! from your whole collection I actually only used the Chanel pro lumiere. I've always had difficulty finding a good foundation but seems like using so many different ones is the easy way out :P Will definitely build my collection up!
