5 £5 or less Bargain Beauty Buys

I thought id do a little feature perhaps once a month or something with products that cost less than £5 that are great value for money.
After all everybody loves a bargain and when you are on a budget then its great to find things that don't cost the earth.

Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes with Tea tree £1 for 2 packs Primark

These wipes are pretty good for oily or spot prone skin. They do the job just as good as any and at £1 for 2 packs they are ideal for stocking up and saving a few pennies. I don't think any wipes will do the same job as a cleanser but for late nights and quick fixes these are great.

W7 Africa highlighter £1.99 See post here

Pretty highlighter that is suprisingly good quality for such a cheap price. Read my post for pictures of it on the face.

Sleek blusher in Pan Tao £4.30

Sleek blushers are such amazing value for money. Pan Tao is a beautiful peach/orange shade which is such a now colour for cheeks.
The pigmentation is just as good if not better than most high end brands. I think this is limited so if i only had a fiver left i think I'd put my money on this one.

Sleek True Colour Lipstick Peaches & Cream £4.00

A second Sleek product and a new one to me as i only got this shade last week but again the formula is brilliant and i would expect to pay a lot more for this than £4.00
Peaches & Cream is proving to be one of the most popular shades and i can understand why. Full coverage, stand out peachy but with a brightness somehow, its almost a pale coral if that makes sense. Non drying and lasts well too. Gorgeous.

W7 Honolulu Bronzer £1.99 Savers See post here

Last but not least the amazing bronzer that costs just £1.99. Nothing else to say that's not been said in my post. If you can get one then grab it before they sell out.

I'd love some feedback as to whether or not you like this post so i can decide if t make it a regular feature or not ???

The cheapest Highlighter on the Block !

After my huge reaction on yesterdays post i thought i'd do a follow up with the cheapest highlighter on the block post about the W7 highlighter which looks to be an atempted copy of the famous Too Faced Pink Leopoard. Yes this too is just £1.99 from savers.

W7 Africa £1.99

Comes with a small flat brush in cardboard square packaging

Left: Too Faced Pink Leopard / Right: W7 Africa

When i first swatched this on my hand i wasn't overly impressed it came out a peachy tone which didnt look particularly exciting and not as shimmery as the too faced one and lighter in colour.
But when i applied it to my face i loved it. Really pretty highlighter slightly golden in tone and so easy to apply.
W7 Africa applied on cheeks

Close up you can see there is no chunky glitter

So again a fantastic bargain price for a really decent quality highlighter.
Let me just say they are not exactly the same, the swatches on my hand came out quite different but i couldn't capture it on camera.
Bearing in mind the snow leopard costs over £20 and this is just £1.99 i think its still a pretty good buy.
What do you think?

The cheapest bronzer on the block!

I was over at Lippy and a LBD blog when i read a post about this bargain bronzer which is meant to be a copy of Benefits hoola bronzer. Priced at just £1.99 from savers i rushed off to get my hands on one to see what i was missing.

W7 Honolulu Bronzer

As you can see from the swatch its a matte brown shade without any shimmer and no orange tones in sight :)
I have been wanting to try the hoola bronzer from benefit but the price tag had put me off so i don't have one to compare but after trying this i will no longer be craving it as this has turned out to be the perfect colour for me.

I love how the colour seems to match my body ( Fake tan shhhh ) perfectly and it looks really natural yet its still dark enough if that makes sense.
The texture is really smooth, its highly pigmented and you need to use a really light hand but it works beautifully for both contour and an all over bronzer.

Applied very lightly

A little more!

very gentle contouring

If i had paid £20 for this i would of still been really happy. I have worn this nearly everyday since i purchased it and am going back to get another.
So for less than a price of a sandwich i have found a perfect bronzer. Don't miss this one girlies xx
