Lowering the lashes!

A few months ago i purchased some lower false eyelashes from ebay and to be honest i had forgotten all about them but last night as i was getting ready for a girls night out i decided to try them out. I thought I'd show you how they looked.

Upper & Lower lashes

When i first applied them they felt really strange but after about 20 minutes i couldn't even tell i was wearing them and they stayed on with no problems all night. What do you think? They are a lot more natural looking than what i expected, i really like them.

From a distance

Little Black Dress

What do you think of lower lashes? Have you used them before or do you think they are too much?

My Green Eyed Gal EOTD!

What's a girl to do on a dreary Thursday morning? Apart from eating Chocolate pancakes and drink coffee?
But there's only so much eating and drinking i can do so i thought I'd have a play with a couple of green eyeshadows and here's what i came up with:

Products used MUA Shade 3, Mac Naked Lunch, Mac Bows & Curtsy, Mac Black Tied

I have to say i am rather late in jumping on the band wagon for the MUA products. I have had this bright green pigment for ages but just not got round to using it. It has a really pretty sparkle to it and blends beautifully. A bargain price at 99p from superdrug

The obligatory looking down shot!

Of course i added some false lashes to finish the look. These were some random ones that had no name on them but i think they are quite pretty.

It may be a bit full on for sitting around the house but Ive got a good excuse, I'm a beauty blogger right?

M2Beaute Eyelash growth final results!

I'm not going to keep going on about how amazing this duo growth eyelash treatment is. If you want to read more about the products check out my 2 month result post here.
If you are anything like me you just want to know if it works and a bit of proof.

Without a doubt this stuff works. It has transformed my short stubby lashes to ones i can be proud of. I have loved watching them grow in front of my eyes and trying out new mascaras to make the most of my new length.

Before if i was going out at night or somewhere special i would have to apply false lashes to make my makeup feel complete but now i use a good mascara and the results are almost as good :)

So now for the final results after 16 weeks:

1st lets see 8 Weeks on:

Then we have before and after 16 weeks of treatment:

 After:

 After with mascara:

This is probably one of the most expensive eyelash treatments available costing £120 for the Activating Serum and £45 for the revitalizing gloss but personally i think if you would pay for lash extensions then i would much rather spend the money on these products for these results.
M2Beaute system is available from Harrods or directly from the M2Beaute website here
What do you think ?

FOTD with Eye Candy Lashes!

If you happened to read yesterdays post you will have seen my little MAC haul so last night i had to have a play with my new products and try out some Eye Candy lashes which i was sent to review. Here's how it came out:

MAC Lucky Green & Bows & Curtsy Shadow

I think the Eye candy really finish off the look. These are priced at £4.95 and available from Boots in lots of great styles. I found them really easy to apply and they felt so light and natural.
These were Style 016 which i don't think i would of necessarily choose myself so I'm pretty impressed with the outcome and I'm keen to try some of the others.

I think they are really pretty even from a distance as they have quite a dramatic look

Winging it!

On the rest of the face i used my MAC something Special Creme Blusher & my new favourite lipstick Ever hip.

I don't usually wear these types of colours on my eyes or this style lashes but i happen to love the end results :) xx

FOTD On The Sly

Morning my beautiful girlie's. Just a quick FOTD to show you my pretty new lipstick that i received yesterday from my lovely friend.

Here's what I'm wearing today:

Mac Face & Body foundation
Benefit on the sly full finish lipstick
Benefit brow pencil

I am in love with this lipstick, i couldn't of chosen better myself. Available here  £14

Eyes were kept neutral and i added some lashes in style IB10 available here
10 pairs for just £6.48. I love how natural they look.

I am interested to know what your favourite lashes are style wise. Do you like the natural pretty lashes or do you like the thick full on glamour type or long, winged, half, corner. Or even individual or semi permanent? So many lashes and so little time xx

Time to play !

Today has been one of those days when i have had a bit of time on my hands to have a play with my make up. Here's what i came up with.
Pretty neutral with a dash of colour and of course some Big Lashes.

I've also been testing out some of my latest products. It's what lazy Saturdays were meant for.

 Liz Earle Botanical Essence

How cute can a bottle get. Review coming soon.

Oh and I've been watching the lovely Liz Earle on QVC. I met her last year at the opening of the Leeds flagship store last year and she was as lovely in person as she comes across on the TV.

Burt's Bees Lip Balm as my lips have been feeling a bit dry lately and I'm enjoying testing these out. The mango one smells delicious.

Pai Camellia & Rose gentle hydrating cleanser. I've been using this for a while and seriously loving it. Review coming very soon.

Pai Avocado and jojoba organic moisturiser. Amazing product which i have been using in conjuction with the cleanser. Again review coming soon.

It's not often that i have time to just chill out and relax so its been fun. Tonight i will be relaxing watching Take me out or something cheesy and generally taking it easy. Not everyones idea of a great Saturday night but for me it's perfect. xx

NYX FOTD

Yesterday i thought I'd dig out a few of my NYX pigments that I'd forgot about and do a pretty neutral eye look. I also tried out a different set of lashes just to give my eyes a little more definition. Here's how it turned out.

NYX Chrome eyeshadow in Oatmeal and Barely there. I love the fact that these are so easy to blend and so perfect for a quick and easy look.

Oatmeal : Highlighter
Barely there: Lid

Lashes from my favourite E Bay seller Jeremy lash 5 pairs for £4.68

Lashes SS2. Click here to check them out.

NYX Thalia Lipstick

I love thalia lipstick, its one of those colours that seems to go with everything and the formula is gorgeous and creamy. Have you tried this yet?
