Speckled Rust NOTD!

Morning everyone, today i thought I'd show you my nail colour that i applied yesterday which is such a pretty combo.
It's feeling a lot colder here now and as Autumn is upon us i thought I'd choose a deeper colour to wear.

Leighton Denny Forbidden Territory

I love this colour its a metallic Burgundy with a hint of rust. A perfect colour for Autumn.

Nubar 2010

Then i applied a coat of Nubar 2010 over the top to create these glitter speckles.

 

This is one of those combinations that has to be seen in real life to appreciate. Dam you camera for not showing its true beauty.
The glitter flakes create a two tone iridescent colour on the nails in shades of greens and golds its so pretty.

Monochrome Nails & OOTD!

Happy Saturday! Well it is for me anyway. I am sat here tap tapping away at the computer and all around me is silence. My boys are staying with their grandparents for the night and as much as i adore my kids its great to have some time just for me :)

Tonight we are out with our friends for a meal which will no doubt be followed by a few cocktails. I am so excited to be able to get ready at leisure which anyone with children knows is a luxury in itself.

For the past hr or so i have been drinking coffee, lounging about, reading blogs and doing my nails. Ahhh heaven.

Monochrome Nails!

I went to meadow hall last night as i was lucky enough to win some gift vouchers from the ladies at niceneasy on twitter so i treated myself to a new bag and watch from River Island. I also picked up this long leopard top from Republic which i love.

The bag is so so soft i know i will use it all the time. They had it in other colours but you can't go wrong with black can you.

Make up is Liz Earle Skin Tint with Smashbox cream blusher, Mascara and lippy.

Hair was a blast of dry shampoo and not much else as I'm leaving it till later when i get spruced up for tonight. Hope you are all having a fab weekend xxx

Nails Inc Mr Men & Little Miss 40th Anniversary Collaboration!

I've always liked a lot of the Nails Inc polishes so when i was told about the collaboration with one of my childhood favourites the Mr Men i was intrigued to find out more.

Nails Inc have launched 4 exciting new colours:

Little Miss Chatterbox

 Little Miss Splendid

 Little Miss Sunshine

They each retail at £12 and come in a pretty box so perfect for a little gift too. I was lucky enough to be sent Little Miss Naughty which i have to say is gorgeous. I had started to think i couldn't wear purples and lilacs as a lot of them look a bit wishy washy on me but this one just has that bit of depth which makes all the difference.

I used two coats and the coverage and formula is lovely and smooth as most of the nails inc polishes are.

I have to say I'm loving the look of Little Miss Sunshine as well.
