He-Shi Tanning !

Hello guys and gals, as you lot probably already know, i love the bronzed look. Pale just isn't me and so when i was asked if i would like to try out the He-Shi Tanning products i jumped at the chance.

He-Shi Exfoliating Bodywash is a luxurious face and body exfoliator containing fruit AHA's and scrub particles to gently remove dead skin cells whilst micro-dermabrasion crystals smooth the skin in preparation for tanning

This smells gorgeous really fruity and fresh and the particles give a really good thorough scrub without being too harsh. RRP £12.00

He-Shi Express Liquid Tan is a self tanning bronzer which can be used on both the body and the face, it tans instantly on contact with the skin, giving a lovely bronzed complexion.

What did i think?

When i opened the bottle i was a bit surprised as the product is very liquidy it looks like soy sauce to be honest and i have always used either a cream, spray or mousse formula so thought it might be hard to apply.
But as soon as i started to apply the liquid i was genuinely pleased as the liquid spreads so easily and the instant colour was brilliant so i could see exactly where i was applying it.

The colour guide before it develops is a gorgeous natural brown, no orange undertones just similar in colour to a week of being in the sun :)

I didn't apply it to my face but next time i will definitely give it a try. The bonus with this tan is the fact that i could of applied it and gone out without feeling conscious as there were no muddy or green patches like some of the brands i have used. Perfect for a last minute night out.

There was also only a very slight fake tan smell, its definitely one of the least smelling tans Ive used.

The colour developed into a lovely bronzed even tan and i am really pleased with the results.

I haven't tried the moisturiser yet but it again smells lovely so i will be updating you on it in due course. Next i want to try the facial gel as i like to tan my face to match my body.

If you are looking for a great tan whether you are a newby to fake tan or a bit of a fake tan fan like me then this is a great option.
Have you tried the He- Shi Range before? Available from He-Shi online here

  7. This sounds really lovely... I've seen the brand online but haven't actually tried it before. I'm incredibly pale so it's not easy to find a fake tan that doesn't look fake! I generally use a different one every summer (last year was Clinique and the year before was St Tropez) so I reckon these will be worth a shot this year cos the prices look reasonable and you've answered every single question I'd have asked! :)

Looking forward to hearing what you think of the moisturiser ♥

  9. I tried the exfoliator ages ago and I didn't like but then I don't do self-tan so I probably wasn't the target audience!
