Red Lips & Pink Hearts!

I was recently sent a few products to review from Eyeko. I have not tried many of the Eyeko products so i was curious to try them out and have a little play.

Liptastik Glossy Pen £6.50
Loudmouth & Lip Lover

Lip Lover & Loudmouth

These fat twist up lip colours are beautiful and highly pigmented. You draw on the lipline and fill in leaving a glossy full on colour. Really easy to use and rather gorgeous

Loudmouth is a lovely full on bright red!

Lip Lover is a hot pink!

Then we have the perfect compliment to the bold lips in the Graffiti Eyeliner Pen £5.50

I usually use a cream liner and brush and its been ages since i tried a pen liner so i was surprised at how easy it was to use this. Great for fine lines as well as the more dramatic thick lines, flicks or wings. I've found myself reaching for this most days as it seems much quicker and easier to use when im rushing about.

Have you tried any of these products available online directly from Eyeko xx

The Great Glittery Polish Post !

I'm the first to admit I'm a sucker for Glitter! I just have these magpie tendencies that immediately draw me to anything shiny. So with that in mind i wanted to put together a post of some Beautiful Glitter nail polishes.
After all your nails is the one area i think you can go crazy with glitter and get away with it.

My Mass of Glittery Goodness!

Some of my favourite Full on Glittery Shades:

OPI I Lily Love You & Last Friday Night
RRP £10.50 Available from Look Fantastic.com

Orly Bubbly Bombshell & Here Comes Trouble
Available from Beautybay.com for £6.95

Nubar Petunia Sparkle, Hyacinth Sparkle & Nubar 2010
Available from Beautyshed.co.uk for £8.00

Sparituals Spellbound
Available from Feelunique.com for £8.50

I love the fact that glitters can be worn on there own, on top of block colours or layered for different effects. There are so many fab ranges to choose from and if you just fancy something cheap and cheerful then you cant go wrong with the saffron polishes that cost just a few quid each.

OPI Last Friday Night on top of OPI Ogre The Top Blue

Nubar 2010 on top of OPI Ogre The Top Blue

Orly Bubbly Bombshell with Nubar Hyacinth Sparkle

So Many stunning polishes and only 10 fingers and 10 toes. Whats a girl to do? Please look out for lots of nails of the day where i will be showcasing some of these individually because it would be rude not to really :)
Are you a blinging kind of polish fan and tell me your favourite glitters xx

NYX Concealer Review!

A quick review on the NYX Concealer in a jar in shade light!

This is available from NYX for just £4.96 which is really good value for a decent concealer. The little pot is cute and i really like the formula. It reminds me a little bit of benefit Erase paste if you've ever tried that?
The texture is thick so it covers well and it looks surprisingly natural once blended in. I'm really quite impressed. It doesn't totally cover my dark circles but it does makes them look a lot lighter and without the obvious concealer look.

Before

 Unblended. Great colour match :)

After

It lasts pretty well too and doesn't sit in the lines after a few hrs like some do. I also tried it on blemishes and it works brilliantly for that too. Unfortunately this shade is a bit too light for me to use in that way but a shade darker and it would of been perfect.
Have you tried this yet?

My Love for Liz !

Liz Earle have been a favourite brand of mine for a long time now. I haven't posted about any of the products for a while andso thought id talk about the hand products.

I love the fact that a lot of the Liz Earle products just fit into my everyday routine and so i kind of forget about them at times. You know like a pair of slippers that you wear everyday. You know what i mean. Comforting, nurturing, caring, you get my gist.

Liz Earle Orange Blossom Hand Wash & Hand Repair Cream

The hand wash and hand cream work amazingly well as a duo. I keep these in my onsuite  bathroom so i can have a little hand pampering treat everyday and they are just to special for me to share with the rest of the household lol.

I often sneak in and wash my hands and use the hand cream just as a little pick me up as both products not only smell amazing  but they leave your hands really soft too. There is something quite zen like about these products, they always remind me of spa days and relaxing times.

The hand wash contains Geranium, Lavandin and sweet orange essential oils ( explains why it smells so good ) and is priced at £10.20 which is pricey for a hand wash but it is gorgeous.
Ive never really thought of washing my hands as a treat but using this has changed all that. Add a few fluffy white towels to the process and i find it all quite theraputic.

The Hand Repair is equally luscious with a price tag to match £19.65.
Naturally active ingredients include soothing echinacea, toning hops, plus antioxidants beta-carotene and natural source vitamin E.

The cream feels rich but is absorbed really easily and leaves my hands silky soft and smelling amazing. The fragrance lasts for hrs as well.

I have had these for a few months now and they are still going strong. Have you tried either of these products before and do you associate hand products with luxury?

GOSH! What a face!

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that i really like a lot of the GOSH products and so today while i was looking through my collection i noticed i had nearly enough products to do a full face look all from GOSH.

GOSH what a face :)

Products used:
X-ceptional Wear foundation
Precious Powder Pearls (Bronzer)
Single shadows in Coral & Grey/brown
Long lasting brow pen Mahogany
Velvet touch eyeliner in metallic brass
Touch up concealer in shade 2
Brilliant gloss in shade 84

The eyebrow pen is a little dark for me but still the concept is brilliant and makes filling brows in really easy

Finished look:

The only product i don't have in the GOSH range is a mascara, i must do something about that.

All products were purchased by myself except for the lip gloss and the coral eyeshadow which i won on a facebook competition.

I will try and review the foundation at some point if anyones interested as its rather good and photographs really well too.
Do you any certain product ranges that you can do a full face makeup with?

Nailtiques Protein Products!

Morning my gorgeous girlie's, i wanted to do a little post about the New Nailtiques Nail colour with protein ( this mornings tongue twister )
For somebody like me who has soft week nails a formula that promises to strengthen nails with a protein boost is exciting news.

Nailtiques formula 2 & Nailtiques Protein Polish in Shanghai

"Products provided for Reviewing purposes"

I don't know if you are familiar with Nailtiques products but they are a professional range used in many top salons and spas and having used them in the past as a former Nail Tech i can vouch for the amazing quality.

Nailtiques Formula 2 RRP £11.65 www.lookfantastic.com

The Formula 2 is a nail protein that has a great reputation for helping ladies with Soft, Weak, Peeling nails. Great for girls who have worn nail extensions for a long time and have damaged nails that need repair.
I have actually been using it as a base coat and find it really helps give my nails a bit of added strength.

The polish itself seemed pretty similar to any other polish Ive used. The theory behind the product is that the colours work in conjunction with the protein treatments allowing them to penetrate through the colour for maximum effectiveness.
Available in 16 classic colour RRP £10.95 available from www.lookfantastic.com

What did i think?

I used the Formula 2 as a base coat and a top coat and 2 coats of colour.
I have to say i am really impressed. I did notice a definite strengthening of my nails. They felt far less bendy and the colour was lovely. I'd be interested to see if there was much difference over a period of time using the products.

The best part for me was the fact that the polish really lasted as well. 5 days which is unbelievably good for me.

The colours are lovely but i think if Nailtiques added a few trend colours then they would be on to a winning combination.
Perfect for those ladies who are trying to grow there nails.
I would highly recommend these products and will be looking to buy some other shades for myself. xx
