A New Passion for Fashion !

Hello my beautiful followers, I'm not one for writing about fashion and i don't do many OOTD posts simply because i tend to be a bit boring when it comes to clothes.
I was always the girl with nice makeup on wearing boys jeans and a vest top. But as i'm getting older I'm getting fed up of wearing the same style run of the mill outfits and so have been experimenting a little with different cuts and colours.
Nothing too way out but still unfamiliar territory for me.

Here's a sneak at what i have been buying recently.

Shoes Primark

 Cream Wedges from Additions

 Tan Wedges NEXT

Tan Boobtube & White Trousers NEW LOOK

All in one Primark

Dress Miss Selfridges Cardi Primark
Dress was a bargain in the sale last year

Juicy Couture Earrings ASOS ( Birthday present Money well spent )

I know to most of you these outfits are nothing special but for me they are quite dressy. You are looking at a woman who lives in boys jeans and hoodies a huge amount of the time.
I think my love for beauty products has been so strong that all my spare pennies have gone on cosmetics, skincare but now its time to jazz up my wardrobe a little.

Any good fashion blogs i should be reading for inspiration? xx

Sleek True Colour Lipsticks !

I Love lippy! I know you must of seen the new Sleek True Colour Lipsticks that have recently been launched & if you remember i treated myself to a couple as past of my birthday spend.

Barely There & Heartbreaker

Barely There is a really pretty neutral peachy nude. Almost a hint of coral in this one which makes it really wearable. The texture of this is nice and creamy and Ive been wearing it a lot since its a play it safe, goes with anything lip colour. Definitely one for the collection.

HeartBreaker is a full on bright deep pink. Highly pigmented and screams look at me. Totally matte finish so make sure you don't have dry flaky lips before applying. A slick of lipbalm first seems to help the lipstick apply a bit easier in my opinion.
I do find matte lippies last longer on my lips which is a bonus but i don't wear them everyday as i find they can be a bit drying.
Perfect for a night out or when you want to feel a little bit glam.

I decided to add a clear lipgloss over the top and to be honest i prefer it worn like this. What do you think? Matte or glossy?

I am impressed with these two lipsticks they are a nice little addition to my collection and at £6 for both ( on offer at the time ) i wont be breaking the bank.
Have you got your eye on any of these colours or any other recommendations. There were so many pretty colours i had a hard time choosing just 2 xx

Diva Ultima 5000 Pro !

Hello lovelies, I wanted to do a little post about my new hairdryer which i have been road testing for quite a while now.
I have to say that me and my hair have had quite a journey this last year. I have never been one to bother much with my hair. Simply because it is really fine and Ive never really been good with styling so Ive just kept it long and tied it up a lot.
But thanks to a good cut and colour, amazing styling tools and brilliant products i have started to like my hair  and am enjoying finding different ways to make the best out of what i have.

Hair just blow dried with the Diva 5000 Pro Hairdryer

I had my old hairdryer for quite a long time and to be honest wouldn't of thought about buying a new one as i didn't really think one varied much from another.

Available in Hot Pink £79.99
Now price wise this is not cheap but taking into consideration the fact the hairdryer is a Professional appliance and the fact that it dries my hair twice as fast as my previous dryer means it is worth every penny in my opinion.

The one thing i noticed when i used this for the first time was how powerful it was. You have 4 heat settings and 2 speed settings.
Can i just add the cool setting on this actually works brilliantly which is a first in my experience and invaluable when trying to cool the hair after applying rollers etc.

2000 watts means it dries my hair quickly and so no aching arms and great when im in a rush which is pretty much all the time.
It has a really long cord and two different nozzle attachments. To be honest i have only used the larger of the two nozzles as it works perfectly for me but nice to have the option if you want it.

I find it really easy to blow dry my hair with this and i don't even need to straighten it afterwards as it leaves my hair sleek and shiny and full of volume.
I didn't realise a hairdryer could make such a difference but clearly i still have a lot to learn.

You can buy the Diva Ultima 5000 from professional salons or from http://www.sallyexpress.com

I have a whole heap of other hair related posts coming up including a brilliant multi function styling tool and products that i now can't be without. xx
