Sleek Acid Palette Look

Morning my fellow bloggers, i just wanted to show you a little look i did the other day when i decided i wanted to jazz up my makeup a little.
I dusted off my Sleek Acid Palette and decided to go a little brighter on the eyes just for fun really.
So here's what i came up with:

Now this is not my usual look but every now and then i think it's good to shake things up a bit and try something that's completely different to your everyday routine.
I only wish i hadn't ran out of my false lashes as they would of looked great with this look.

Do you tend to opt for the same colours most days or do you like to mix things up a bit with your makeup?

Artdeco Glam Art Xmas Collection

Xmas is nearly upon us and i for one feel like glamming up a little to celebrate. Artdeco have launched a glamorous  new collection which i have been lucky enough to sample for you ladies.
The make up range is made up of shimmering hues of gold, silver, champagne, soft browns, lilac, greens and earth tones.

Included in the collection is the Glam Art Beauty Box Magnum priced at £21.05. This luxurious refillable magnetic beauty box contains an integrated lipstick compartment and 6 metallic eyeshadows.

Glam Stars Lipstick in 4 new shades £17.25

 Liquid Star Eyeliner £14.00
This gorgeous liquid eyeliner contains fine glitter particles for dazzling eyes this party season.

These are just a few of the highlights for me.

I was send nail polish sparkling rose £9.30 to sample which is a stunning shimmery colour which is a perfect shade for some added dazzle at those Xmas parties.

I was also sent the artdeco eyeshadow base which is priced at just £7.45. This is amazing , i will be doing a full review on this soon but lets just say it's super creamy and smooth and it makes my eyeshadow last and last.

My last item is the beautiful Glam Stars Lipstick in the shade Champagne. This can be worn alone on on top of other lipsticks for a subtle shimmer. I love the fact that it's a nude but the shimmer gives it that slight depth to prevent that washed out look which is all to easy to get with some of the neutrals around. As always with Artdeco the formulation is super smooth too.

Artdeco products are available from

Have you tried artdeco products before? I have to say i'm a huge fan and the more products i try the more i rate them.
Let me know what you think?

Chanel Pro Lumiere

Hi girlies, I want to show you my new foundation that i was lucky enough to pick up in a blog sale from the lovely nicolavc86

It really was pot luck as i had no idea of the colour I'd brought, but when i swatched it I was hugely relieved to find it a great colour match.
Chanel pro Lumiere is a foundation i have lusted after for a while and i had high expectations from such a premium brand. I am pleased to say i love it.
I'm sure my drawer full of foundations will be pushed aside now i've found this little gem.

The product just glides effortlessly and blends like a dream. I only needed a little to give a flawless look.
I don't have any powder or bronzer on here as i wanted to show you it as a base on its own.

I love the way it makes my skin look smoother and even but its so natural even up close. I expected it to be quite dewy looking but it's not really. It's quite hard to describe, not matte, not dewy but in between. I think it looks like a better version of my skin and it photographs really well too. I think I've finally found my perfect foundation.

Yay for the Postman !

Hello ladies, hope you are all having a great friday. I am so pleased that mr postman has managed to deliver some goodies to me this week.
I can't tell you how excited i was when he knocked on the door and handed me a big parcel. Only to open it up and discover that my Beauty Bible products had arrived for testing.

For any of you that don't know, the Beauty Bible   is an amazing company that write beauty books sourced from information that people give them about products they've tested out. This is the first time i have been involved with the process and I'm so excited. You get 10 products which they select for you so it was a fantastic surprise when i opened my package.

I have been wanting to try this for a while as i love anything almond scented.

Another thing I'm excited to try is the Melvita Micellaire water

I have never heard of IS Youth Complex so had a quick Google and it's apparently a miracle product that costs $130 and can be prescribed by dermatologists for lines & wrinkles. The reviews I've read are amazing.

OPI nail envy is such a cult product and I've never tried it so again i was super excited to see this turn up.

I also received a Liz Earle superskin moisturiser  and 5 other lovely looking products. I'm in product heaven today.
The lovely girls over at Beauty Bible also have a blog for you to check out Beauty Bible Blog
Has anyone else ever taken part in any of these testing panels?
